Fooled by Randomness by Nassim Nicholas Taleb unpacks the role randomness, luck and chance play in what we usually think of as success. We tend to misattribute causality, make decisions that bring anguish and discontent into our thoughts and misjudge some things as random that aren’t. Critical thinking and greater scepticism regarding how we perceive situations are remedies.
