IP patents - only by humans

A pandora’s box of potential patent trolls has been closed, for now. The U.K. Supreme Court has rejected an effort by an American computer scientist to register Intellectual Property patents that he says were created by his AI system. This ruling followed similar decisions by courts in Europe, Australia and the U.S. upholding that inventors must be a natural person.
