Problem solving and resilience team kits
Essential Skills Team Kits
Skills for adaptability, developed together, with the book in hand.
An Essential Skills Team Kit is professional development for a whole team, bought as one thing and ready to run. Everyone on the team maps where they stand, receives modules matched to their individual results and gets the book at the workshop. You get a map of the team and a targeted workshop built from it, designed for a team leader, L&D lead or trainer to facilitate themselves, with no certification required.
How it works
You order a kit for your team at the checkout.
Everyone receives a link to map where they stand, in about ten minutes, whenever suits them, and receives an individual Pathway.
You receive the Team Capability Map, the Workshop Kit and the books that go with it. If you’d like, we can talk the map through with you.
The team comes together for a session and everyone receives their copy of the book to work from.
Each person leaves with the book, a clear view of what to practise and 12 months access to their modules on my.edaith.
What each person gets
Everyone on the team receives three things, and keeps all of them.
The book
A printed copy of the Essential Skills Series guide for the skill: 30 evidence-based tools and the research behind them. It's theirs to keep, mark up and come back to long after the session.
Their profile
The mapping takes about ten minutes. Their results show where they stand in each competency of the skill and where their best opportunities for development are, with one focused action for each at their level. An interactive results page and a summary PDF arrive within minutes.
Their modules
12 months access to their modules on my.edaith: the tools from the book that match their results, one competency at a time. They can also ask people who have seen them work for their view, and any competencies that brings up join their modules.
Their results are theirs. You don't see anyone's scores and nor does anyone else on the team. The Team Capability Map shows the team as a whole and each person's style, never an individual score, and it is only produced for four or more people. If someone asks you who sees their results, the answer is them.
What you get as the leader or trainer
The Team Capability Map. One report on the whole team: where it is strong together, where it is thin and the three competencies to develop first, with guidance pitched at the level most of the team is at. Each competency shows the spread across the team as well as the average, so you can see where people are aligned and where they differ. Where at least four people have completed a feedback round, the map adds how the team sees itself next to how others see it. Your map is reviewed before it reaches you, and if you'd like support working through it, we can talk it through with you.
The Workshop Kit. Everything you need to run the session: presentations for a 45-minute or 90-minute session, PowerPoint files with full speaker notes, a facilitation guide with run sheets, invitation and reminder emails, and questions to ask the team afterwards. The tools for the three competencies your map puts first come with it, so the session works on what your team most needs. A licence covers using it in your training.

Choose the skill: problem solving or resilience
-
Problem Solver Team Kit
A ready-to-run problem-solving workshop for your team, with a book for everyone and a map of where to start.
For teams that keep meeting the same problems, or jump to fixes before agreeing what the problem is. It develops how a team defines a problem, finds its causes, weighs the options, decides, follows through and keeps what it learned, and when a quick fix is enough.
-
Resilient Team Kit
A ready-to-run resilience workshop for your team, with a book for everyone and a map of where to start.
For teams working through change, pressure or a run of setbacks. It develops how people steady themselves when things go wrong, adapt when plans change, keep moving after a setback and lean on each other while they do it.
The workshop, ready to run
This is where the kit comes together. The team sits down with the book open and works through the tools the map put first, on situations from its own working week. People bring what their profile showed them, and the team leaves with a shared way of working on the skill and a common language for it.
It runs for 45 or 90 minutes. A team leader, L&D lead or trainer facilitates it with the Workshop Kit, and no certification is required: the run sheet and speaker notes take you through it step by step.
Who it's for
Kits suit a team of four in a small firm as well as teams across a large organisation. Each team gets its own kit and its own map.
Team leaders
Who want their team to develop a skill together, not one person at a time.
L&D and capability leads
Who want development that starts from where people are and ends with something people keep.
Trainers and facilitators
Who want a ready-made session built on a book and a map of the people in the room.

Frequently asked questions
Is my result shared with my manager?
No. Your results go to you and stay with you. Your manager receives the Team Capability Map, which shows the team as a whole and each person's style, never anyone's scores. No one else on the team sees your results either.
Do we need a facilitator?
No. Each kit is ready to run, designed for a team leader, L&D lead or trainer to facilitate themselves, with no certification required. The Workshop Kit has a run sheet, slides and speaker notes for every step.
Can we run it for more than one team?
Yes. Order a kit for each team. Each team gets its own map and its own session, so each works on what it most needs.
What if the team is remote?
The book, the mapping and the modules work wherever people are. The session is written for a room, and that's where it works best.
How long does it take?
About ten minutes for each person to complete the mapping, and 45 or 90 minutes for the session. Your map arrives within five working days of the team finishing. Everyone has 12 months access to their modules on my.edaith, so they can come back to them whenever they need to.
Can we add a second kit later?
Yes. Each kit is one skill. When the team is ready for another, order the second kit. Everyone's profiles sit together on my.edaith.
Start with the work
The Task+Tech Fit Check maps where your team's work aligns with research on task automation. Share one link with your team and you get a team report: which tasks sit where today, and where they could sit as technology takes on more of the routine. It's free, and it only takes a few minutes.
The Fit Check looks at the work. The Team Capability Map looks at the people doing it.
